The NBA gave us a great 2017-2018 season. The offseason has been just as good with big news such as LeBron going to LA and Kawhi and DeMar DeRozan being traded. Now, the NBA has given us some dates for the upcoming season.
Opening Week has some fantastic matchups to look forward to. Starting off opening night on TNT, there is a potential Eastern Conference Finals matchup between 76ers and Celtics and then the Thunder goes to the Oracle in attempt ruin Warriors’ ring ceremony. Wednesday night on ESPN, the Rockets opens their season against Pelicans and then you have a rookie of the year battle with Luka Doncic and the Mavericks against DeAndre Ayton and the Suns. The rest of the opening week consists of some good matchups with Celtics and Raptors, Warriors and Jazz, and Rockets and Lakers.
Christmas should be an exciting day as you have a rematch of last year game between Thunder and Rockets, a new matchup of Donovan Mitchell and the Jazz against Damian Lillard and the Trail Blazers, and the classic matchup with a new twist as Lebron and the Lakers meet up against the Warriors.

MLK Jr. Day has a great tripleheader on TNT that starts with the Pelicans against a resurging Grizzlies and ends with another marquee matchup of Lakers and Warriors.
The NBA will release the schedule for the entire season on Friday, August 10th at 4pm.
